• IMPROVED
COMFORT AND OPERATION: Occupants
complaints continually governed the maintenance staff's schedule
until we identified and remedied the problem. Now Maintenance can
"maintain" and the occupants work in comfort.

|
| Why
is my space drafty? The air flow and temperatures
have checked out OK but the occupants still complained. We found
that downdrafts were the problem, caused by overlapping air
currents from adjacent ceiling diffusers as demonstrated by
"smoke puffer" tests. |
|
Answer:
Our knowledgeable technicians recommended the easy "fix"
- change the throw patterns of the diffusers as shown in the
sketch to eliminate the problem. |

INVESTIGATION SKILLS: System problems
that had baffled other experts were correctly identified and
solutions proposed that worked.
<
Here, air flow was restricted by an undersized damper. When
the correct size was installed, ventilation rates were achieved. |

•CLEAN-UP
OPERATIONS: New
systems that were mysteriously not performing according to the engineer's
design specifications were tested and successfully rebalanced by
WING'S.
 |
 |
 |
| This
air outlet had no air flow because the flex duct was not connected/secured
to the diffuser below it. |

flow INTO the exhaust fan. This fan was actually functioning
as an outside air intake. |

NEW CONSTRUCTION / RENOVATIONS:
New equipment was thoroughly tested, adjusted and balanced
so the owner got a properly operating system and the contractor
got a closed out job.
<
Older system is well-maintained and set-up properly. |
